Richard Cody
Principal

Rich CodyWith over 25 years of commercial real estate development and construction management experience, Rich specializes in new building construction, commercial and industrial shell alterations, seismic upgrades, retail and restaurant tenant improvements, and remodels. As a director of the company, he manages the daily operations, including estimating, job scheduling, client relations, and new business development. Actively involved Cody-Brock’s commitment to Building Community, Rich volunteers his time and construction expertise at St. Charles School and Church in San Carlos, California, and with Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) where he participates in National Rebuilding Day and constructs the unique and elaborately designed playhouses for RTP’s biennial Dreams Happen fundraiser. From 1991 to 1995, he served on the San Mateo County Architectural Design Review committee; and from 1994 to 1997, he served as President of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, Central Division. In addition, he served as a coach and board member for San Carlos Little League from 1999 to 2012. Rich holds a BS in Biology from the University of Oregon. Currently, he serves on the board of the Positive Coaching Alliance, San Francisco Chapter.

 

Charles Brock, LEED AP
Principal

Charles BrockWith over 25 years experience in commercial construction, Charlie specializes in new building construction, industrial, R&D, office and retail tenant improvements, and green building practices. He manages all aspects of the construction process from the budgeting phase, permit process, job start-up through final completion and job closeout. As a director of the company, Charlie also handles daily operations including estimating, project management, in-house accounting, and client relations. In addition, he has taken the necessary coursework to obtain his LEED AP certification, an important designation that ensures Cody-Brock has the knowledge and expertise to build your project to the most current environmental standards. Charlie holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics from San Jose State University. Also active in the local community, Charlie has held leadership roles in local chapters of Boy Scouts of America and has served for many years as a site manager for Rebuilding Together Peninsula’s (RTP) National Rebuilding Day.

 

Casey Vermette
Vice President

Casey VermetteAs Vice President at Cody-Brock, Casey builds on more than 18 years of experience in the construction industry. From day-to-day project oversight to estimating through project completion, Casey ensures that the needs of our clients are met. He specializes in tenant improvements, working with a wide range of companies and industries. He also focuses on business development and supervision of Cody-Brock’s team of project mangers. Prior to joining Cody-Brock, Casey worked closely with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on various church and private school construction projects. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In keeping with Cody-Brock’s commitment to Building Community, Casey donates his time and expertise to Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) as a volunteer for National Rebuilding Day and in the construction of playhouses for RTP’s biennial Dreams Happen fundraiser.
